Grindstar was created as an extension of the Stunt Terrain Association of Riders Federation. Its purpose is to provide recognition and opportunities for riders around the globe and also support the initiatives of The STAR Federation which includes funding for various charity organizations that cater to children with special needs. Upon achieving Grindstar Team status through membership, riders also increase their visibility and potential for becoming a Grindstar Team Rider.
As well as providing opportunities for riders through competition and organized events, Grindstar has also developed and continue to develop partnerships with various businesses and organization that allow Team Members to acquire exclusive Grindstar offers and discounts. Grindstar Team Managers are continually looking to work with new riders that assist in building the riding community. Grindstar Wants You!
Grindstar, along with The STAR Federation, is in the works of developing the ultimate indoor riding facility. The Self Propelled Indoor Entertainment or SPIE Park design will be created by riders, for riders. It will exude the essence of flow, and it will have both Beginner and Expert courses. The idea is to design the Beginner course so that it will accommodate new riders yet have everything needed to entertain the most seasoned rider. The concept of the SPIE Park is to include as many self-propelled styles as possible. We do not want to be restricted as the notion of a “skatepark” would. We want to provide a facility so that many styles of self-propulsion can be experienced and utilized. Once the flagship park is introduced, more will follow.
