BEARINGS & BRUISES BIKE COMPETITION WAS HUGE.!! It was an awesome day for riding! Placement in each class were:

Everyone who placed won some great prizes. For the beginner class Chase Pauza snatched up a new MirraCo. Bike!! Then we had the raffle for a week long trip to Camp Woodward...guess who was picked in the drawing...Chase Pauza!! He was one happy dude...View some of the the pics here.
We want to give a special thanks to the Rockford Park District for inviting us to host the event and also helping to make it successful. We also want to thank Fat Wallet for their gracious contributions and Kegel's Bicycle for sponsoring the event and providing some great prizes!! We can't wait to do it again!!

The competition in Byron was a great time!! Thanks to all that came out to support the event. There were some great riders and we had a lot of fun with the Grindstar demo between sessions!! Top 3 in each division got some great prizes...(Skilled Div): 1. Brandon McMullin 2. Jordan McMullin 3. Keegan Bohannon (Beginner Div): 1. Scott Dusavage 2. Bill Moore 3. Jake Habben.. Also Congats to Jordan McMullin for winning the Best Trick Award!! He pulled a backflip over the spine and won himself a set of Alex Rims!! View the pics here.

Bearings & Bruises raindate has been scheduled!! The competition will be held Sept. 19th at the Harlem Community Center. Registration is from 11am - 1pm....Contest will be from 1 - 7pm. Click here for more info.

Grindstar will be hosting a BMX competition at The Rock Skatepark in Byron, IL. next Saturday, August 22nd!! It is $5 to enter and registration is at Noon. Contest begins at 1pm. Beginner/Advanced/Expert divisions. Check events page for coordinates.

X Games - July 30th thru Aug. 2nd, and Jimmy Walker will be killing it in the BMX Vert competition! By the way, congrats to both Koji Kraft and Jimmy Walker for making the Mtn. Dew Tour finals in Chicago!!
